Zooti 9/21/95 - 9/10/11 If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever.

Zooti was born in the Rocky Mountains west of Boulder, CO. He came into our lives late Sept of 1995. He lived a long happy life with his human friends Mike & Megan and his feline friend Nutmeg, in Boulder until 2002 and in Las Vegas until he passed on Sept. 10, 2011. He died at home on the big bed, in our bedroom, on his favorite blanket with his name on it with us by his side. He always loved to cuddle in comfy blankets, take long naps, sit on our laps and watch movies, play with his mouseys and earmuffs, chase the laser toy and wrestle with Nutter. He was very vocal, loved to talk to us and had a big vocabulary. He loved to go outside on the patio and watch the birds and lay in the sun. In the winter he loved to walk in the snow on the patio. He loved to be on the counter and go to his clubhouse above the fridge or sleep in his cubbyhole. He would tuck us in everynight and wait for us to turn out the light , then he would go to the front bedroom windowsill and watch over the cul-de-sac . Every morning he would come on the bed to wake us up for breakfast. In the winters he loved the giant black fur comforter and would sleep with us always. He was the best friend and companion in the whole world. Zooti, You will be missed forever!

Wellness Cat Food

One of the things I have really been wanting to spread the word about is the grand coverup pet food companies have going on with loading all their supposedly higher end cat food with fillers and by products. For years we fed Nutmeg and Zooti, our most beloved cats, Iams and later Prescription Diet due to their special medical needs not realizing it was making them sicker and worse off than we could have imagined! We also feed them canned food for over a decade. It turns out canned cat food contains BPA, particularly any pop top canned food which is most cat cans. If your cat does not finish the food and you store it inside the can in the refrigerator even worse because now the BPA can leach into the food. These were disturbing findings to say the least but we were thrilled and relieved to find Wellness Healthy Indulgence Pouches!

They do not come in a can so no BPA! And they do not have by products or fillers! Nutmeg just turned 17 and was diagnosed with Inflammatory bowel disease but this has greatly reduced her vomiting and she gained back several pounds since she has been on it! We only feed them Wellness now!
